Of course, not that Bubba couldn't leave his D&T mark. 'Feel good' feature! My belief that ALL the Finn Bear genre are of the superior Sako dove tail scope mount pattern. A nice feature of these earlier Finn Bears, up (to recollection) into 60-70K SN range. What I do consider more significant, the "third bolt locking lug", ala mauser 98. I've never counted Bofors barrel as material, perhaps not paying attention. I don't know how extensive the sn range of the Bofors barrels, but obviously, "into five digits", if marginally here. Also to note, self a diehard controlled round feed bolt rifle fan! Moving only grudgingly to adopt some 'push feed' rifles as emerging from 'also ran' placing! These earlier vintage Sakos so emerged! Considerable respect!īelow a pix of my lowest sn Finn Bear Plain Jane L61, not exactly 'girlish figure' bit chubby and maybe 1/2 K extra wt! But typical Sako quality beaut, here in 30-06. No Sako expert! Just personal observations.
